“Yet I will not forget you” Isaiah 49:15

Contacting utility companies or service providers by phone will invariably mean you will talk to a digital machine, recieve a recorded message or be put on hold! But there are also times when God put’s us on hold! Simeon, the devout Jewish man in Luke 2:25, waited patiently for the consolation of Israel and the only assurance he received from the God was that he would see this ‘consolation’ before he died! But God never forgot His promise to Him.

It can often be frustrating waiting in a que when it is not moving or waiting in traffic whilst the car is not moving. However, it is important not to base your progress solely on movement. While you are waiitng on the manifestation of a promise, it is possible to grow in faith, patience and grace(2nd Peter 1:2).

It is impossible for God to forget what He has said and what He has promised you. Be encouraged, your life is in His hands; God knows the exact time to give you what you need and the best way to do it. Using the previous example of waiting in a que; don’t leave the que through impatience or discouragement, the person you are waiting for ‘knows you are waiting’. God has not forgotten you. Have a blessed week.

If you have any testimonies, I would love to hear from you.

Have a great day
